Privacy Policy

What We Collect

• Apple Health activity. Step counts, workout durations, active energy, and whether those samples were entered manually. Access is read-only. We use this data to calculate daily effort, verify workout credit, and resolve your Party's Boss fight.
• Account and device. Your Sign in with Apple account identifier, the display name you provide, timezone, notification choices, and an Apple Push Notification token when you enable notifications.
• Gameplay and content. Party names, invite codes and membership; Strategies, Support Roles, Daily Rewards, Battle results, progression, and Hero choices.
• Product use. A small set of in-app events such as opening the boss screen, completing a choice, or sharing an invite. These events help us find confusing or unused features. They never include raw Apple Health samples.

We do not request your location, contacts, photos, microphone, or advertising identifier.

What We Never Do

• We never show ads or use your data for advertising.
• We never track you across other apps or websites.
• We never sell your data, to anyone, for any reason.
• Your Apple Health data is used only for the fitness game features described above — never for marketing, advertising, or unrelated data mining.

Service Providers

We use Vercel to run the app's server and Neon to host its database. Apple provides Sign in with Apple and push notifications. These providers process data only to operate Swole & Shield and must protect it under their own agreements and applicable law. We do not allow them to use your Apple Health data for advertising or their own marketing.

Retention and Your Choices

Open Settings in the app to change notification choices, manage blocked players, stop Apple Health access, sign out, or delete your account. Deleting your account revokes Sign in with Apple access and removes the account, Apple Health sync records, personal effort and progression records, purchase records, product events, and Party membership from our active systems. Shared final Battle totals and outcomes remain as part of the Party's History, but personal Battle-log lines attributed to your account are removed.

Party Safety

Parties are invite-only and have no free-form chat or public feed. We filter player and Party names for objectionable language. Tap a player in the Battle roster to report or block them. Blocking stops direct nudges in both directions and prevents the two accounts from joining another Party together while the block remains active.
